Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

InCompass Ink has no control of how third parties collect information about you. We advise you to contact those respective third-party sites and review their privacy policies to learn more.

Analytics

We do business with the following third parties. They collect and use your personal information through secure SSL encryption as follows:

  • Google Analytics – Google Analytics uses log files as described above. Google does not have access to this data, but anyone who has access to your search console will have access to this data.
  • Cloudflare – Cloudflare is a content delivery network (CDN) that analyzes traffic to our website in an effort to prevent bad bot attacks.
  • Iridium Hosting –  Provides and uses web traffic statistics as per log files above in an effort to prevent bad bot attacks and provide anonymous visitor demographic data for our website.
  • YouTube – We provide links to YouTube videos on our website, which is treated the same as if watching directly on YouTube. YouTube will use the IP information to record video views.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
